Pursuant to and in compliance with the European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data No. 679/2016 (GDPR) and the current Privacy Law, in relation to the personal data of which CyLock S.r.l. (hereinafter the Data Controller or CyLock), as Data Controller, will come into possession, we inform you of the following:

  1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is CyLock S.r.l. (hereinafter also CyLock or Controller) with registered office in Via Fonte Buono n°19 – 00142 Rome.

  1. Data Processors

CyLock has no data processors. Anyhow, this may change on a temporary basis and consequently to the adoption of specific services. An updated list of Data Processors can be asked upon a specific request to the Data Controller at the addresses indicated in this statement.

  1. Purpose of the Processing and legal basis of the processing

The GDPR (art. 4, par.1) defines personal data as “any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity;”.

The processing of personal data (GDPR, Art.4, par. 2) means any operation or set of operations, performed with or without the aid of automated processes and applied to personal data or sets of personal data, such as collection, registration, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or modification, extraction, consultation, use, communication by transmission, dissemination or any other form of making available, comparison or interconnection, limitation, cancellation or destruction.

That said, access to this site and the display of the information content hosted on it involves the collection, by the Data Controller and this site, of some personal data of the visitor, for the following processing purposes:

  1. analyse this web site usage to improve users’experience, in particular through third party’s analytics cookies (i.e., Google Analytics);
  2. respond to your requests for information, received through the “Contacts” section of this site and / or through the e-mail address info@cylock.tech;
  3. periodically update you on offers, promotions and discounts for products on our website www.cylock.tech, in particular through the use of the e-mail newsletter service;
  4. carry out, on your behalf, the AntiHacker and AntiPhishing tests, on the addresses indicated by you, as required by the Terms and Conditions of service;
  5. comply with legal obligations to which CyLock is subject;
  6. ascertain, exercise or defend a right in court or whenever the courts exercise their judicial functions;

The legal basis of the processing for the purposes referred to the points 2 and 4 above is the execution of a contract of which the interested party is a party or the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the same interested party.

The legal basis of the processing for the purposes referred to the points 1 and 3 is consent to the processing of personal data (Art.6, par.1, letter a); failure to provide consent will not allow the Data Controller to analyse this web site usage by you and to provide services relating to the receipt of dedicated offers through newsletters. We remind you that, in any case, the consent you may have given may be revoked at any time, by writing to the data controller at the address info@cylock.tech.

The legal basis of the processing for the purposes referred to the points 5 and 6 is the fulfilment of a legal obligation and to exercise the right of defense in court of CyLock.

In any case, the site collects personal data only if these are specifically and voluntarily provided by visitors, or through specific consent.

We also inform you that the Data Controller does not collect or process personal data or information obtained through the site for the purpose of dissemination or sale to third parties, nor does it host sending messages on behalf of third parties.

  1. Source of Personal Data and Categories Of Personal Data

To pursue the purposes referred to in the previous paragraph, the Data Controller will process the information exclusively provided by you. 

The personal data being processed are those relating to identification data (Name, Surname, Job Position, Company, IP public address) and contact data (e-mail address and telephone number).

  1. Provision of data by the interested party, release of consent by the latter and consequences of failure to consent

The provision of personal information referred to in the previous paragraphs is optional; however, any refusal to do so would make it objectively impossible to respond to your requests to use the services on this site.

  1. Methods and duration of processing

The use of your personal data will take place in compliance with the methods and requirements of the data provided for by EU Regulation No. 679/16 (GDPR), with the support of paper, computer or telematic, manual and automated means for the purposes indicated in the previous paragraph, in compliance with the provisions relating to the confidentiality of personal data, by the Data Controller and the Data Processors. 

The Data Controller will keep the data collected in the sense set out above for the time strictly necessary to pursue the purposes explained above, in any case no later than 24 months, according to the principles of lawfulness, relevance and non-excess. 

In case of cookies, the storage time is equal to the duration of the session, and in any case no later than the time necessary to manage the connected user session (one month).

In any case, the subjects to whom your Personal Data may be communicated act as: 1) persons authorized to process personal data under the direct authority of the owner or manager; 2) Data Processors, i.e. subjects who process Personal Data on behalf of the Data Controller.

In case of specific requests, personal data may also be communicated to the Police, the Judicial Authority or other Government Agencies, in order to fulfil legal and/or regulatory obligations or requests.

  1. Data Subject’s rights and contact details of the Data Controller

We inform you that at any time you can exercise your rights towards the Data Controller, pursuant to Art. 15-22 of the European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data No. 679/2016 (GDPR), or you can obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning you and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or correction.

Pursuant to the same articles, you also have the right to request cancellation, portability, rectification, limitation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law as well as to receive in a structured format, commonly used and readable by automatic device, the personal data concerning you; we also inform you that you may object at any time, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning you.
